星期天，Kenworthy在Twitter中放上與他的隊友的照片，並寫下：「以大家為榮！所有人都如此努力完成奧運，才能夠有這機會走在閉幕典禮上！恩….所有人但除了伊凡卡。老實說，她在這裡幹嘛？」
川普大女兒伊凡卡在閉幕典禮時，與南韓總統文在寅及北韓最高層代表金英哲在同個包廂中。她表示探訪的此目的是為了要對北韓的核武計畫施加更多壓力。
