紐約轎車車禍20死 司機無照、車子上月安檢未過

星期六，紐約發生嚴重車禍，造成20人死亡。星期一，紐約州長Andrew Cuomo表示：「該名改裝轎車的司機並沒有駕照可以開這種車。」

Cuomo也表示這輛改裝的SUV「上個月紐約交通運輸局地檢查中並未通過，不能在路上行駛」。

該輛改裝豪華轎車無法在路口緊急煞車，並撞上 Schoharie路邊的SUV，造成車內加上司機18人死亡、2名路人死亡，該車禍也被認為是近十幾年最致命的交通事故。

兩對情侶 Erin Vertucci、Shane McGowan 和在六月時結婚的 Amy、Axel Steenburg 當場死亡。根據CNN報導，車內還有4名姐妹 Amy Steenburg、Mary Dyson、Abby Jackson 和 Allison King，他們當時正準備前往釀酒廠為生日派對做準備。

已有人設立GoFundMe的頁面，幫助2名路人的家庭籌備喪禮開銷。
